For people who think they are bad #PlantParents, here is a plant that makes your life easy. If you have killed enough plants and are almost on the verge of giving up, here is your new best friend, Lithop the Living Stone.

It looks like a living stone but is a plant with a unique shape. It causes the merging of two separate leaves, and the plant grows in the rainy season. The plant is found in South Africa and is extremely strange. The visible parts are the thick pebbles, the leaves, and they have lived for more than 50 years.
Lithops are stemless succulents that originated from the continent of Africa. Belonging to the ice plant family, these small plants usually grow underground with just two small kidney-shaped, flat-topped leaves peeking out to catch some sunlight.
If you are wondering what the fun is in just having 2 small pebbles for a plant, you are rewarded with a single daisy-like flower that comes pushing through the crevice between the twin leaves in early winter. The lone flower is often orange or pale yellow with a sweet-spicy smell that attracts pollinators.
